From 15 December 2021, the borders of Australia have been reopened for the fully vaccinated travelers, which was earlier paused due to the emergence of the Omicron variant.
Fully vaccinated international students and skilled cohorts, as well as humanitarian, temporary, and provisional family visa holders, will be able to travel to Australia without an exemption from 15 December 2021. In addition, international safe travel zones with Japan and Korea has started on 15 December 2021. Also, international safe zones have been introduced for Singapore and New Zealand.
